The 2023 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is just around the corner, promising an exciting program of live music, kids’ activities, street entertainers, and cooking demonstrations across four action-packed days.

Held from 25 – 28 May, The Marine Village will become a thriving hub of fun for the whole family, as the southern hemisphere’s premier marine event hosts upwards of 300 exhibitors displaying hundreds of boats and thousands of innovative products.

From entry until sundown, patrons will discover a lively atmosphere teeming with colour and energy throughout the SCIBS precincts, while roving entertainment will complete the carnival vibe.

SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser said this year’s event would feature a wide range of diverse activities catering to a range of ages and interests.

“SCIBS offers exceptional value for your entry price. Catering to families, couples, boat enthusiasts and those just looking to soak up the atmosphere of a world-class event, visitors can experience everything from luxury superyachts and fishing boats, to the latest water toys and marine technology,” Mr Hasser said.

“We’ll also have a non-stop entertainment schedule for the entire family, with an exciting program of events including live music, street performers, cooking demonstrations, fishing masterclasses, delicious food, vibrant bars and a dedicated kids’ zone.”

Whether it’s luxury or affordable boating you’re after, SCIBS 2023 is sure to have it all, providing the perfect place to start your boating adventure.

SCIBS is operating free park ‘n’ ride services from Warner Bros. Movie World across the four days, or guests can pre-purchase onsite car parking for an easy experience on the day.

Purchase your SCIBS ticket online for a chance to win a trip to the magnificent InterContinental Hayman Island Resort for you and a guest, regarded as the ‘Jewel of the Great Barrier Reef’. Make sure to book your tickets by 18 May to go into the draw.
